Alison worked as an archaeologist and museum curator before specialising in archaeological drawing and local history studies. Her artwork evolved as a pastiche of Medieval and other historical styles by which she describes and illustrates events both true and fictional, ancient and modern, scholarly and whimsical. Alison lives and works in Gloucestershire.
